How to Sign Up for Vault Campus with Google

You can use your Google account to sign up for a Vault account, and then you will be able to sign in to Vault using your Google login.

 

To sign up for a Vault account from your institution's Vault Campus sign-in page using Google:

  1. Go to your institution's Vault Campus sign-in page. Your institution's name and/or logo should display in the upper right corner of the page. If you are not sure how to access this page, please contact your institution. (Some institutions may bypass the Vault Campus sign-in page and go directly into Vault Campus. In that case, please see "To sign up for a Vault account from within Vault Campus using Google" below.)
  2. On the right side of the screen, under "New to Vault?", click the orange Create My Vault Account button.
    Note: If you do not see the "New to Vault?" section or the Create My Vault Account button on your institution's Vault sign-in page, then the sign-in page is not for an active Vault Campus subscription. Please contact your institution.
  3. In the Create Your Account screen, click the blue Google button.
  4. Log in to your Google account on the Google login screen.
  5. Google will display a page showing the permissions Vault is requesting. Click the Okay button to continue, or Cancel to cancel. If you cancel, no Vault account will be created.
  6. On the "Do you already have a Vault account?" page:
    • If you do not already have an existing Vault account, click the "Create Vault Account" button. You will see the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address that will be used to create your Vault account. Click "Create Vault Account" again to create the new Vault account using your Google login.
    • If you have an existing Vault account that you would like to associate with your Google login, log in to your existing Vault account on the left side of the page.
  7. Once your Vault account has been successfully created, you will be logged in to Vault Campus automatically.

 

 

To sign up for a Vault account from within Vault Campus using Google:

 

If you are within Vault Campus, your institution's name and/or logo should display in the upper right corner of the page.

  1. If you see the "Welcome to unlimited, premium access to Vault" pop-up, click on the orange "Create My Vault Profile" button. Otherwise, click the Sign In link to the right of the header bar, and then click the orange "Create My Vault Profile" button. 
  2. In the Create Your Account screen, click the blue Google button.
  3. Log in to your Google account on the Google login screen.
  4. Google will display a page showing the permissions Vault is requesting. Click the Okay button to continue, or Cancel to cancel. If you cancel, no Vault account will be created.
  5. On the "Do you already have a Vault account?" page:
    • If you do not already have an existing Vault account, click the "Create Vault Account" button. You will see the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address that will be used to create your Vault account. Click "Create Vault Account" again to create the new Vault account using your Google login.
    • If you have an existing Vault account that you would like to associate with your Google login, log in to your existing Vault account on the left side of the page.
  6. Once your Vault account has been successfully created, you will be logged in to Vault Campus automatically.
